Yeah, I woke up to a friend telling me this. Not just drums, the dude was a glue to that band. Those guys were like brothers. Taylor switching out with Dave to do vocals occasionally (Under Pressure covers particularly come to mind).

The Foo Fighters are one of my favorite bands of all time. Not just because of their music, but because of their interactions with and love for their fans. All the times, Dave and Taylor would bring up people from the crowd at concerts to step into one of their roles and play a song LIVE.

That's magical. All my prayers to Alison and the kids...

Fuck...Just watched him do "Somebody to Love" and his last encore which was "Everlong" and I've been crying like a little bitch for like 20 minutes.

Yes, a drummer can be "replaced". But Taylor was more than that, and the Foo Fighters are more than a band. Over 25 years, him and Dave became like brothers.
