What about messy by tar? How it feel on body, how it smells and how its wash out?

Do a Google search, or ask around, but there is a recipe for making fake tar that's just as good as the real stuff, and is also non-toxic and easier to clean off afterwards. Removing actual tar from the body is a painstaking process and can be dangerous if you use gasoline or nail polish remover.

I think tar would be pretty dangerous. That clip with Frank Spencer falling into the drum of tar springs to mind with this !

I'd say the best option for a tar look alike would be a very thick and heavily coloured Black Gunge.

Now, black treacle smells pungent, is sticky as hell and awesome looking. Not exactly good to keep it on you a long time... that much sugar absorbing in gave my slave a serious sugar OD. Not the fun kind.
