Anyone else see the VERONICA MARS movie? Usually audio-only does nothing for me but I have to admit, I got a li'l semi going when Kristen Bell says this (in voiceover):
I've rolled around in the mud for so long. Wash me clean and I don't recognize myself. So, how about I just accept the mud? And the tendency I have to find myself rolling in it?
I watched some of House Of Lies when I had HBO. Considering the level of talent (Don Cheadle!! And Bell, and the guy who plays Jean Ralphio on Parks & Rec....) it felt like it should be WAY better and funnier than it was.
What should've been better was the VERONICA MARS movie. Talk about pandering fanservice. Best argument I've seen yet for not bringing shows back from the dead, no matter how good they were.

I didn't think the movie was bad, but yes, it did pander a lot. I think that is the problem with being funded by the kickstarter campaign - they felt a need to give each person who donated exactly what they wanted to see, which doesn't always lead to the best movie. Without feeling that obligation, I think they could have done a much better job.

I agree with you there, I was expecting so much more! Felt the same way about Dead Like Me: Life After Death
