I made a query into this about a month ago. My understanding is that she left the business. Since she didn't make any posts about it or anything along those lines, I imagine she intended to do so quietly. I removed my thread in that spirit of privacy. Other producers that have worked with her may have more insight.
That's a real shame. I'd noticed she hadn't posted for some time, but the last time I checked her store was still up. So it's gone now? Darn. She was really good, and a prolific producer for quite some time. Sad news.
I'm really surprised this thread isn't getting much more attention. Sweetsophie was, I'll say it again, a prolific producer on here for a good ten years or so. She's not some "I wish she'd done more" model who was only active for six months. She went back to the mid-2000s when she debuted for DungeonMaster at Saturation Hall, and soon struck out on her own. Did anyone ever see her store? There were pages and pages of it!
The recent departure of "somebody else" from UMD caused a huge stink, sadly for the wrong reasons, and although that's not the case here Sophie's retirement is also a big loss for this community, and certainly for UK WAM.
Few screengrabs below. This thread needs to turn into a tribute one to her, it really does...

I've thought about making this thread over the past few months too, but as Potatoman-J suggested, I felt like she maybe wanted to leave quietly given the deletion of all her stuff.
But for sure, sweetsophie is one of my very favourite producers in UMD history.
Whoa, sad to see Sophie go. Loved her stuff and she was always a laugh. One of the things that really stood out for me in her videos was her use of coats and other outerwear, when other producers were just using thin dresses or T-shirts, etc.
If she's just quietly slipped out the back door without fuss then fair enough. Best wishes for the future, Sophie!

I still remember shooting what turned into her first scene, as Lady Elizabeth. She wasn't entirely sure if she wanted to do it or not so we gave her a fancy dress to wear and let her gunge Lady Jasmine, with the idea that she'd stay clean but it wouldn't matter if she got a few splashes. What actually happened is once her ladyship was totally covered, Elizabeth (full name Sophie Elizabeth) decided she really wanted to join in and asked very quietly if that was OK. Needless to say we all said "yes, sure!" and the rest is history.
She was a fantastic model and also a really lovely person in real life too. All of us at the Hall wish her all the best. Farewell and a good future!
Saturation Hall - Forth! The Gungemaidens!

Interesting story!
From watching her videos, it's hard to imagine she was ever hesitant about getting involved.
She certainly left a great lasting legacy on this place. Best wishes to her wherever she is!
