Today is Suicide Prevention Day. Just want to make a quick post to anyone out there experiencing suicidal thoughts. Please talk to someone about how your feeling. Close friends, family members, your GP, hell, talk to me if you want to. There are special helplines for you if you need to talk to someone in confidence. There's the Samaritans, Breathing Space and if someone can post some American charities for this cause, that would be great. Please don't suffer in silence. Suicide is the biggest killer of men and women under 45. That is all. Sending everyone lots of love
And check out the Messy Minds group as well. We're trying to open it up to being about broader mental health and support than just relationship stuff.
Depression is real, and for most of 2017 I teetered on the edge of a knife, literally. It will fester and grow the more you are isolated from others. Your pain is real, but sharing the burden can make it so much better. Don't suffer alone.
