The last several days, the site hasn't been updating for me in IE (version 11). If I clear my browser cache, I see the current version of the site, but if I don't clear the cache, I am always seeing an old version of every page. I don't see any new topics and the times listed on them are always out of date.
It is obvious that I am seeing cached versions of the pages and clearing my cache forces the browser to get the new version, but this wasn't necessary until a few days ago (I don't remember exactly how many). I'm not sure if the problem is entirely on my end, or if a recent update has messed up some of the headers or metadata that would have caused IE to always grab the new version.
I'm experiencing the exact same thing! Several days ago I started having problems getting on to the site. When I got the "enter/leave" screen, no matter how many times I clicked on "enter", I couldn't get in. Then I hit refresh, and it took me in to the UMD homepage. So since then, I click once on enter, then refresh, and I get in.
Now, starting today, my posts don't show until I click "refresh". And then a few times, when I've gone back to that thread, my post is not there (again). Then I hit refresh, and it's there.
I messaged MM earlier today, but haven't heard from him yet. Did you message him? Then he'll know there's more than one person experiencing this.
No, I haven't messaged MM because I wasn't sure if it was just me (I have experienced crashes in IE - which I think I have tracked to a bad add-on). I will try to do that, but am glad it isn't just me, as that means that it probably is a site bug and will be fixed.
