Recently this spring, I discovered a quarry not too far from where I live with a relatively easy walk through the woods to get to a nice patch of quicksand, where I've been to a handful of times this summer to indulge my sinking/mud fetish. It's a terrific feeling! However, I learned a valuable lesson this last time I went...
Usually before setting up a spot for myself with my backpack filled with towels, bottled water, and a clean shirt and underwear, I scope out the area to make sure the part of the quarry that I go to is deserted. This past time though, I guess I wasn't thorough enough... I walked around a bit to check on the condition of the mud in other locations before deciding to stick to my usual spot right at the edge of the woods. Before cutting through the overgrowth to get to the raised bank of the ditch where all the quicksand is, I decided to, well, relieve myself, and then get started with setting up my stuff for cleanup. But after zipping up, I turned around and saw a pickup truck parked right down the path that ran along the ditch, in plain sight of me!
I'll tell you, I booked it like I haven't in a looong time! Back through the deer trail in the woods and out into a grassy opening, looking back over my shoulder briefly now and again to see if someone was following me. There wasn't.. In reality, the people in the truck after closing hours at the quarry probably didn't care enough for a foot chase.
I made it all the way back to my car at the nearby park I parked at before laying low for a while and catching my breath. I knew I was a crazy ass for going there to begin with, and even crazier for going back even after being spotted. But I'd come all this way for a sink, so I at least had to sneak back and scope out again to see if I had startled anything.
There was no one there when I returned about an hour before sundown. I was extra cautious but extra stupid to return. I guess the power of the Horny was too strong with me...
I should count myself lucky that truck didn't arrive when I was already in the mud. Otherwise, I don't know how I would've explained myself out of that, or gotten away 'cause it ain't easy pulling yourself out of that stuff. I may need to reconsider my approach to visiting that spot again, as it may not be as remote as I initially though...
Still, at the end of the day, the climax was totally worth it XD
All this cake, there must be a princess somewhere.
