So been getting messy for many years and always been looking for ways to improve the logistics around my sessions with my wife..
Normal session I would rush the setup.. pool, plastic tarp, towels.. mixing the mess with warm water and quickly starting the session because I want to have the mud pretty warm.. all that rushing kinda breaks whatever mood we might be in. However, Today I had a moment of clarity.. and was able to setup everything in advance (6 hours ahead) the clay. I was able to keep 2x 5gallon buckets of clay very warm by taping the water bed heating pad to the 2 buckets. Even if the pad was only wrapping around one side of each bucket it kept the mud really hot, to the point we had to take our time getting in the mud since it was too hot. So there you have it.. we had a nice dinner before our session and the flow of the moment was much nicer from table to puddle
Fun fact.. one of my mud bucket was stored outside for couple months and a solid block of ice when I opened that lid. Over night the bucket went from solid ice to very warm mud using the water bed heating pad
