TBH, may I'm too old but I'm not sure what else he does. he's a disc jockey, right? He plays other peoples music (is that a "concert"?) and throws cakes in faces?

The cakes are a gimmick. Same as DJing while wearing a marshmallow on your head. We're just lucky that this rich kid started throwing cakes at his audience in between hitting "PLAY" on his laptop.
Anyway, tons of clips on YT although you'll have to wade through a lot of crap. Unfortunately, Covid seemed to ruin his caking run, and while I assume he hasn't dropped the gimmick completely, there's little of value after 2019.

Anyway, tons of clips on YT although you'll have to wade through a lot of crap. Unfortunately, Covid seemed to ruin his caking run, and while I assume he hasn't dropped the gimmick completely, there's little of value after 2019.
His IG stories have them for most shows he performs at, and there have been some good ones! (Obviously, the stories go away after 24 hours.) This one might be my all-time favorite:

One of these days I'll make it out to a show to take my chances, though staying up to 2 or 3 in the morning is a big ask, and you definitely need a friend to hoist you onto their shoulders, which is probably why it tends to be mostly women getting it. As a fan of taking hard hits to the face though, I simply can't resist.

Ah, gotcha.... I assumed when videos from the show stopped appearing on YT that he wasn't filming anymore. Makes more sense he'd move that all to IG. (Too bad it's just quick phone clips and not the pro-shot footage he used to release.)
I'm still not sure it's worth the cost of following Aoki on IG tho.

How do you think he picks the people he throws the cake at? Would absolutely love this to happen to me but would it mean sitting through a whole gig of his? These are my big questions on this
