My first advent calendar was a very traditional one when I was a child. It was very simple with pictures of the nativity behind the doors. Mary, Joseph, the Three King's, some sheep (just bulk up numbers, can't pull the wool over my eyes) a star and camels (one for the adults. They like a bit of humping) you get the idea. Since then, advent calendars have moved on, As commercialism took over tradition. Advent Calendars with the worst tasting chocolate ever vacuum formed into some bizarre shapes. Is one that stands out for me. Now, the advent calendar is big and bold and ranges from everything from Lego to designer handbags. Some advents calendars cost hundreds. which, in my opinion, is not about Christmas but greed.

Anyway the main event. I bring you the first day of the Splosh! Advent Calendar 2024.
And behind the first door is the amazing Sammy-Jane. As you can see she's full of beans. She knew she was going to be first out. But as the pic shows, she kept the secret well and just sat in it.
