I had run a poll in the wetlook forum, and people don't seem to want the speech bubbles.

So I decided to run one here. Many of you know that Emi and Tina have 'adventures' and the speech bubbles provide a bit of story-telling. However, some feel the bubbles distract from the photos and if you save one of the photos, the speech bubble makes no sense, as it's not in context with the other pictures in the series.

So I'll leave it up to you guys to decide. Future photosets will either continue to have them, or not, based on your vote.

I went with no, because I like the old adage "a picture is worth a thousand words". But that's just my preference.

Not a huge fan of them personally but wouldn't care one way or another - either way I definitely appreciate the work you put into making your images and stories!

I don't necessarily think speech bubbles are a good thing or a bad thing. In this particular case though, the speech bubble looks kind of lazily done. You've got this great image and then a Microsoft Word speech bubble with some comic sans text. If the speech bubble didn't contrast so enormously from the image, it would be a lot better.

Thanks. They are not Word speech bubbles, I got them off an image library. I went with comic sans to make it look more 'comic-y'. I'm not sure how to make speech bubbles that would fit in better.

The bubbles are textured and have some shadow and the text looks like comic book text.

Thanks, AB Gamma. How is this? I found a better font, and did the drop shadow on the text bubble. I cannot find the exact font, as it may be part of the video package he is selling.
