This makes me think of the 1960's Rock 'n Roll stars. People like the Beatles and the Stones often said that they couldn't picture themselves jumping around on stage after turning 30. Yet Paul McCartney is still touring and rocking in his 70's. And Mick Jagger is what? 100? and still singing. (Actually he's in his 70's, too. but he *looks* 100! )
Moe was in his 70's and still doing slapstick comedy as the Three Stooges in "Kook's Tour" in 1970. Even in their 50's the boys looked out of place with the young starlets that they had in their movies! But they still did their knock-about comedy, punishing their middle-aged bodies!
They're all gone now, but long live The Three Stooges!
