No, I wouldn't recommend butter cream as a conditioner. It's really oily. I had to use lots and lots of Dawn dish washing soap to get it all out of my hair, and that left my hair dry. It's also got a really sweet, sugary smell that kind of sticks around longer than you'd like it to if you know what I mean!
