Hey guys, I've only just stumbled upon S.L.O.S.H. and it seems like just the kind of thing I'd like to join. To those in the know I was wondering when memberships will open again and what exactly the initiation mentioned on the website is.

Great fun club, I was a member some years back. We got up to some messy antics, I can tell you.

I'd also wondered about them, as in the last couple of of years I've only run into people who'd been involved some time ago, rather than people currently active. That made me wonder if they're still around. Obviously I'd expect events to have been off lately, but their website looks like it hasn't changed for a long time, and the twitter hasn't been active since 2019.

S.L.O.S.H. as a club still exists, they recently held an E.G.M. to elect a new committee and make a plan of action. I'm not a committee member so my word here is not an official one. The events are obviously close contact and inappropriate during current times, therefore all activity was paused included new memberships and existing memberships were also paused (so they don't expire). Events and updates will all resume once it's considered safe by the current committee to do so.

I've been a member in the past, and once you are a member, you can access some videos of some of the initiations (at least you could when I was a member). So, I'd recommend joining for 10 pounds if you are curious, as you can see answers to your questions there!
