Hey all I had a moment a recollection the other day. Does anyone remember the other parodies Rich did for Slapstickstuff? The SAW one is by far the most well known, but I remember his 300 parody as well, among others.
I kinda think a lot of things Rich does is a parody. I mean that as praise.... That's the shtick. Like, in the early days, it's not Wild on E, it's Pied on E. Or the Pulp Fiction parody, the two Star Wars Leia bikini scenes, or the Pie-anos parody with the amazing Elle. Or the silent film from waaaaay back. Or the way the It's Not Fair or Lose Your Mind (shout-out Crystal SS64) sketches are a parody of already absurd game shows. Or more recently the Oceans "parodies" with Mya.
Honestly, I think the whole idea of Slapstickstuff is spoofing. Rarely is the vibe just "hot woman stands around and gets pied." There's almost always at least a little bit of a concept or scene. So, yeah, more comes to mind the more I think on it. And the production value is always relatively high for a WAM scene.

Haha.... This is the correct answer.
The longer story is that I've always been a TV/movie fan, so scripting parody scenes just came easily to me. Plus it's easier to come up with ideas when you're ripping everything off.
I was also trying to steer into a very silly/goofy/PG-rated vibe, especially in the early days, so spoofing popular shows and movies seemed like a good fit. Honestly, a lot of those early scenes were just me finding a "sexy" costume and writing a parody around it. So the cop outfit led to Law & Order: Cream Pie Unit, the nurse outfit spawned some ER parodies, the "60s girl" look led to Austin Powers and Laugh-In skits that no one remembers....
I don't necessarily think I'm more original now.... Just that I recycle my OWN setups now, like the way all these hot models in tight dresses go to the same Poison Pen restaurant, or audition to be the same terrible "Homewrecker" or "Karen" character, or go on the same "It's Not Fair" gameshow... I DID make a pseudo Indiana Jones spoof with Kristina in SS276 tho... and the scenes with Mya that play on old-school pratfall-heavy "family" movies are always fun. (Some more of those are coming, albeit with other models...) But yeah, I haven't done anything as specific (and complicated) as the SAW, Star Wars, Sopranos, and Pulp Fiction parodies in a loooong time. Maybe the last one was Breana's epic Wonder Woman clip?? That's one I'm still quite proud of, even now. But if inspiration strikes, who knows...?

I mean, as I think more and more, I'm remembering you even did an Election Night 2004 parody. I'm not usually wild about body pies, but that one was great.

That's what I like about your videos. Yes there's sexiness involved, but you add humor to the scenes which I love. It's a perfect mix, no pun intended.
