Well, it took a full decade, but yes... I'm beginning the long (LONG) process of converting all our early HD videos to TRUE HD.... AKA 1080p, rather than the 720p currently in the HD.SlapstickStuff.com . (Do you remember 2012? When people loved M83 and didn't hate everything? When the idea of downloading a file larger than 1GB seemed insane?!?)
This is obviously gonna take some time, but eventually all the clips in the HD Store will be full 1080p, with the higher bitrate to match. Seeing how the first 1080p clips don't appear until SS176, that's a LOT of vintage scenes that'll look slightly better! (Basically all the Carrie clips and definitely ALL the Shelly, for starters.) And for those of you streaming, the upgrade will be instantaneous. Will you notice the change? That I can't tell ya.
But what if you like your videos smaller & more compact? Have no fear! Some of you still love to buy in 480p, so this conversion process is ALSO gonna add these old "HD" clips to the Original Standard-Def Store as well: SlapstickStuff.Vidown.com
Seeing how everything from SS142 on is already in there, this won't be a huge change. BUT all of you who have wanted the early clips from Carrie, Britney, Ginger, and others in 480p.... You're getting them! Sorry it took a decade.
