After watching Superman and Peacemaker, I can definitely imagine a SlapstickStuff sketch involving a pie fight between Supergirl, Hawkgirl, and maybe Harcourt.
Also I'm sure James Gunn would approve considering that he got his start in Troma films.
I'm down, although I've mostly gotten away from green screen scenes. (For some reason my current setup doesn't render the effect near as well, even though everything's in higher resolution....)
Also, people don't seem to love Supergirl when she does SlapstickStuff. Granted, there's only been 2 scenes, but both undersold pretty bad. (Wonder Woman was always a safer bet....) I dig Hawgirl, and that actress (from The Last Of Us!), but I already know the WAM audience doesn't love a helmet/face mask getting in the way of their pie hits....

That's a shame about the Supergirl scenes. I actually really enjoy the one from Vol 52 and think you could use that same framework to create an entertaining pie fight between Supergirl and Hawkgirl--or whatever other major female characters are eventually introduced into the DCU. Maybe you could wait til the new Wonder Woman is properly introduced to do another Supergirl scene?
If I get the inclination and the right models, I might return to the comic book parodies.
Problem is, there's a lot of prep involved, on both ends.... From finding the right costumes and props and getting the script right, to the extra level of editing and post after. And I'm lazier than I was 10 years ago! I've also found that the buying audience often doesn't care about that level of work. I mean, letting two models just take off their clothes and play in the mess is literally the EASIEST thing a producer can do.... But it also sells. Quite well. Which is why you always see it!
Side note: I had big plans to do a Batgirl v Catwoman v Harley blowout ages ago, but it never got off the ground. Jen & Christine (SS91/92) were gonna do it. Jen was down to be Batgirl and we were trying to find the skintight costume from the old series. An artist I knew was gonna draw some animated backgrounds. Anyway....
It also sent me down the rabbit hole of trying to bring in cosplay models, the thinking being that they already had the great costumes and KNEW the character. So all you had to do was convince them to get messy! Turns out all cosplayers spend a LOT of time and effort on their costumes and do NOT want to subject them to whipped cream, pudding, and slime. So that was a dead end. (Also, MadLover Cosplay filled that niche soon after, so good on them. But there's a reason they always used shaving cream pies with no real fillings.)
Quick correction that Mad Lover Cosplay used real stuff in their pies about half the time, and the slime was of course always real stuff.... So check the specifics for the non-SC scenes!
