In the September wetlook release from Langstonedale, Purity and Honeysuckle attempty to answer the question of which is the best denim-based outfit to get soaked in, skirt and boots, or jeans and wellies?

They take turns hosing each other down, including putting the hose inside each other's outfits to completely flood them, and finishing with full buckets of water poured over each other's heads and thrown over each other when they are already utterly soaking wet.

Which outfit is the best for wetting? That's for you the viewer to decide!

now that's a hard question as both denims look great wet, the skirt one obviously better wet shine for me, purity and honeysuckle showing it well

To be fair Honeysuckle's jeans also shone when being actively soaked, see the 6th picture where Purity is throwing a bucket of water over her for example, but I guess the skirt, being flatter at the front, shows the shine slightly more? They did both look amazing as they succumbed to their soakings.

i would have thought the skirt outfit for sure because i like the outfit more, but seeing them both wet together its impossible to decide! i think more testing is needed

I'd a feeling the skirt outfit would be popular! Personally I'm a jeans fan but our people do enjoy mixing things up and both Purity and Honeysuckle jumped at the chance to compare things in this one, and that skirt fitted Purity beautifully, dry and wet.

And there can indeed never be too much testing of outfits in the wet, most important that we do much more.

There's a good reason that at least three quarters of all wetlook features jeans, denim is the ultimate wetlook fabric, and always looks awesome soaked. Wearing wet jeans feels great too, especially on a hot sunny day - absolutely the best.
