Looking for recommendations on an easy to use video editing software. The last one I had was an already outdated at the time version of Ulead Video Studio, but that was 3 laptops ago... I have 2 camera angles that I would like to pull clips from and splice together. Other than maybe the ability to add a title, I don't need much else. Thanks!
I don't know how simple it'll be for you but Davinci Resolve is a free option. If you're just looking to cut up a couple of angles you can do that and disregard all of the color grading and advanced features.

I did a quick search on Ulead, and it looks to be in the same vein as Davinci Resolve. There will still be a learning curve, but there are plenty of free YT tutorials out there.
Thank you for the replies, I will look into that program.
And Nessie, believe it or not, that purple gown has now survived a dunk tank as well as that pie and sliming! Women's formal wear seems to be more resilient than my men's cotton t-shirts
It's open source, and in the last couple of years is cross-platform. I've been using it for years, at times doing low-end professional production with it. I'm on Linux and have only used that version, so I can't comment on how well the Mac and Windows versions perform. Since it's primarily developed for Linux, sometimes the versions for other platforms lag in development and features. However, it does have an extremely active development community and all sorts of folks contribute various bits and pieces for it. Has some advanced features like rotoscoping, image stabilization (useful for me because I do wildlife videography and sometime the camera work is a bit shaky), face detection, etc. Tons of video and audio filters and effects. Can capture live video streams from some connected cameras and devices.
