Also no one knows what the stuff is IRL, so you could probably make savory looking stuff out of sweet ingredients.
You absolutely didn't suggest that I would do that. BUT I do want to say that I would never ever fake something like that. I always try to be upfront as best I can about anything and everything.
Sweet items don't ruin a savory scene for me, but I prefer if they're not mixed in the sequence. When I do my customs, I always ask for all savory first, then finish with all of the sweet items.

I voted yes, but there are instances where it could be ok for me too, such as start off sweet and then throw in savory as a nasty surprise towards the end type of scenario.

This idea I hate. If I start doubting it's what you say it is, it just becomes a regular slime scene to me. I ignored a lot of the earlier slimed models stuff initially as it looked like generic slime. Later stuff you saw models make made me change my mind.

This for me as well, if it just looks like green slime then it's a no for me (please don't shoot me Kelsey), even if the description and the video shows how much disgusting stuff is in it. It's yet another weird party of the tapestry of my weird wam likes.
I prefer all savoury, but the use of SOME sweet stuff mixed in there isn't too much of a deal breaker. Treacle/Syrup are good ones just because of how differently they behave and look.
