Now... this topic may infuriate people depending where they sit with which device they use to game!
But what do people think about the ROG Xbox ally? Or would the possible new handheld playstation be better to wait for? Although playstation will not release that for a few more years!
I have a Rog Ally X and I love it. I saw the Xbox one and did not like the shape. But I don't like the Xbox controller. I had an original Xbox and it was ok, then I got a PS3. I prefer the playstation controllers. When I got my Xbox Sex after being annoyed with playstation updates, I found an 8bitdo controller that was like the playstation. So for me the Xbox was a no go. I see it as a stupid gimmick, Just grab the non Xbox Ally and load it up. It will do the same things as the Xbox one.
If i was going to be waiting for one of these handhelds i would be looking at the steam deck 2 due out in 2028 likely just after the PlayStation. the current steam deck & steam deck oled have already been out a few years and sold very well with its price now lower than the switch . the reason id look forward to the steam deck 2 is the company has said it wont be released until a generational leap in performance is achievable rather than minor updates that keep the cost up high like the other handheld pcs have done.
