In case you missed it Ruth just passed away and was in a slapstick pie in the face scene on "Hi-De-Hi" in the mid 80's.

I know that is not a real pie but soap or foam, but that is how they used to make the pies in the old circus days of Charlie Cairoli,

BTW, I also stumbled upon a rare pie in the face scene with Barbara Feldon last week from a 1972 show. The reason I have never been seen before is that the show was never re-aired or released on VHS or DVD in 50 years, but now they are releasing it finally on DVD. I have a pile of unedited clips in my pending bin so it may be a week or so before I can get to posting it.

I remember that pie for her character Gladys, nice to see that again after all these years. She was a great actress, sad news.
