I have been searching far and wide for a pie scene from 2006. Kelly Ripa was pied 24 times while trying to set a Guinness World Record on an episode of Regis & Kelly.
The episode air date was 9/15/2006.
There was a lot of chatter and posts but I can't find a single photo or clip. Ripa has been in quite a few wam related scenes but this one is an all-time favorite.
Any help tracking down photos or a video would be much, much appreciated.
Not quite what you are looking for-- this is a clip referencing the NASCAR clip and showing a quick shot of it followed by more pies and some slime. Poor quality but such was the state of video saving in 2006 or so. https://youtu.be/Csqwh9RGOAA
This is a great clip! I've been looking for the original video or at least photos to no avail for years. Thought I'd finally reach out here for some help.
Never mind, I realize that's not the video. You have the incorrect date though. 9/15/2006 was Wilmer getting pied. Kelly was pied the day before, 9/14/2006, by Matt Kensenth with 17 pies. I'll try to look for it, but it seems hard to find old episodes/clips of that show.

I'm pretty sure that is the clip. I remember this whole thing playing out, we were initially psyched, then disappointed due to giant goggles, then annoyed that the Fez pieing the next day was so much better. The context for the Fez clip is that Kelly wanted to throw the pies rather than take them as she had the day before.
Looking back though, the Kelly clip is... better than I remembered. As far as giant goggles (that stay on the whole time) go, that's about as good as it can get. Love Regis just catching pies and plopping them on Kelly's head.
No problem, I read your post and tried to find it somewhere online and quit pretty early when I had no luck. Later on I was skimming through some of the wam tech compilations I had and stumbled upon it on accident.
