Hey all,
As some of you know, I've been immersed in an "archival project" which involves making a lot of VHS-era clips available for download, sometimes for the first time ever. In addition to some mainstream clips (WWYD, College Mad House, etc) I've also transferred and converted the Paul's House Of Pies stuff, with the blessing of the producer. And that was a big success. (Another amateur series from the 90's is coming later today actually!)

Right now I'm sitting on clips from four separate producers that share three things in common:
1) They only released their amateur footage on VHS... No digital copies. Meaning most people haven't seen this work in 15+ years.
2) They all left the community/UMD in that same time... 15 or more years ago.
3) They all left after ripping off customers.

That last part is the reason why I don't think there's a moral issue with making these clips available again. (Case in point: I also have vintage stuff from WLP & Phoebe, but they stay active here. And sell their own clips, as they should. With Paul's House Of Pies, I made sure to get his permission before releasing anything.)

Still, I'd like to hear thoughts from the community. Ideally moderators and/or old-timers who can weigh in on whether I'm stepping on any toes here. I'm gonna transfer these clips for my own personal use regardless, but I'd rather get the approval of the community before spending extra time/effort to convert these to downloads. (Also, old-timers might be able to help me "ID" a few of the more obscure clips.)

Here's what I have:
1) Da Bozo... Pretty great collection of cute girls in YCDTOTV-esque shirts, raincoats, etc getting pied and sometimes slimed. Classic slapstick setups, with clear homages to the Electric Company and YCDTOTV. Definitely a kindred spirit to me! This guy had already angered the community and split long before the UMD even existed... I'm guessing 20 years ago?
2) Goonboy Rich... I personally lost money to this guy, so no moral issues here for me. Short clips with cute girls and shaving cream pies. His GF in particular gets pied several times and always looks ready to murder him.
3) Terri Ann... She was a fitness instructor? Released a nice collection of solo clips, took some $$ for customs, and then split. Quality of the tape isn't great so that might be an issue too.
4) "Pie Detector"... I can't remember the name of the model OR the producer. Long 15-minute clip where the model gets everything under the sun: Pies, slime, flour, water, chocolate, strawberry filling, etc etc. Goes topless too! The guy disappeared under weird circumstances and then later passed away? (Unconfirmed.) Not sure if he was a "rip off artist" per se, so this is more of a grey area.

(I also have some clips from a very cute brunette with a thick Boston/NY accent. Her BF pies her in a variety of circumstances... By the fireplace, dressed as a cat, as a Robert Palmer girl, etc. At some point she goes blonde and then does Baywatch parodies. VERY rough video quality... Might date to the '80s even. I doubt I'll bother with releasing this as the quality is too poor, but can anyone place this?)
