While not a collector of top shelf magazines,(or thigh candy, as I like to call it), one such title that I was a fan of was a publication called Ravers. This particular magazine was from the same stable as Razzle and Fiesta, and came out at the time the great Bill Shipton was connected to Razzle.
I always like this magazine as it had a great mix of girls. In fact the majority of the Splosh! Girls (Louise, Rachel, Sammy-Jane, Gilly, Amanda, Karen and even Robyn) all featured (Gilly and Robyn even did sets while pregnant). It also seemed to have a messy set or least some wet style set or shaving cream fannies in nearly every issue.
I know Razzle had it's Razzle Romps. Which did have some mighty fine messy sets, and Fiesta had it's Flan Club. But Ravers seemed to focus on messy stuff.
Now I know it's not in the same league as a proper Splosh! Magazine. But for monthly adult magazines, which was available in most (good) newsagents, it was an exciting mag to get at the time.
Razzle was a Paul Raymond Publications magazine from the same stable as Escort
Fiesta and Ravers were from Galaxy Publications who also produced Knave
Sorry just my memories of my youth. Did enjoy the Fiesta Flan Club and remember fondly a messy kitchen set from Fiesta Naughty 40s Volume 2. Have never been able to find the pics
I remember those magazines all too well, I don't remember how I had them in my hand but as I opened the pages I remember the rush. I don't think I have ever been the same since.

Thanks Booth for the correction
I remember the Fiesta issue and the set, yeah it was a good one, I too would to see it again.
I liked the Flan Club, even have a couple of Flan Club DVDs*
(*movies you play from a disc for all the young people here hahaha)
And the Razzle Romps were good as well. But as mention I found the Ravers had some messy element in every issue, which was very good at the time for so called mainstream mag (if you get my meaning)
Great stuff. I'm not familiar with Ravers at all (in the US, I only learned about Splosh! and Razzle through the internet) but I think I've seen some of these pictures floating around online. And I agree with Kevmo, the models and fashions in the '80s were flat out HOT.
A few from the Fiesta Flan Club. I recall so good sets, and as I previously said there was a number of messy DVDs released as well.
In saying that Ravers, in the thread is mainly for, did have a Ravers DVD title, which was the magazine and DVD. This was much later on, and the whole design of the magazine changed, and didn't feature very many messy sets then.

Are any of these DVD's out there still for sale? Don't believe I've ever seen these before.
I am sure there was an ad in Fiesta about a Fiesta Spaghetti Western DVD made using real spaghetti. Great Flan club pics LeRex ,always wished the Rice Pudding set was a bit messier, but she was a bonny lassie. Sure I had those mags too. Used to stash my mags underneath a sofa couch I had in my bedroom. More room than under the bed
Yes. As Booth says, there was a DVD advertised in the magazine, I believe (if my custard soaked brain serves me correct) it was called 'Young Bums II. It was billed as the First spaghetti western made with real spaghetti. I have to admit, it haven't seen it (but would love to). I don't however think it'll be as good, or as messy as the 'A Few Dollops More', which I count as the best Real spaghetti Western.
Also, I don't think it's available any more.
With regards the DVDs I mentioned, these came (not literally), as part of an issue of Fiesta. I have 2 (Custard Tarts and Creamy Squirters), there may have been more.
They're not bad, tame by a sploshers standards, but messy naked women of any degree is super .
I had many of these magazines back in the day, so recognise about half of these images.
Buying the magazines was a thrill in itself. Going into those 2nd hand books/mags/videos stores, searching through the back issue magazine sections, reading the cover blurb trying to see if there would be a messy shoot inside. Making a magazine pile and putting it on the box you were going to check next, because you didn't want someone else getting in there just before you.
You just don't quite get that same buzz on the internet.
Another magazine that was around at this time was called Daily Girls. This was not a full proper porn mag, as it only showed topless models (pretty much like the daily newspapers were showing at the time), however, unlike newspapers (at the time), these topless girls were in colour.
What's interesting is that the magazine editor, was none other than Bill Shipton, so you can imagine the puns and captions. One such issue had a couple of pics of a messy Kathy Lloyd (from a Mike Ellison set at Aquantics). Written next the pictures it says, 'I hear that there could be a magazine soon devoted to messed-maidens, so keep your eye out for that.'

That's the first time I've seen another pic from this set

Mike Elison (maybe) has the full set of Kathy Lloyd and friend. Neither girl stripped off. The full set may yet one day surface. I am certain there are lots of us who would love to see it.

As far as I know there were 2 sets, 1 wetlook in jeans, and the messy set with Sharon (and Professor Treacle I believe). They are on slides which Mike has thousands of, so he would need to go through and find them (if he has them), then get the slide converted to the picture. A big task, but I would really love to see them.
I once picked up a combo pack of magazines from a porn store that had multiple issues of RAVERS.
Imagine my excitement at 19/20 years old or so when I thought "WOW a magazine with girls from the underground dance music scene!!!!!"
Much to my chagrin there were no girls who were clearly identifiable by dress or accessories and makeup styles, as the types that I would typically run into at a rave... I was gutted to say the least. But.. the magazines were nice quality and the photographs were usually pretty well composed so that spoke to my inner photographer. It was also one of my earlier exposures to the messy interest.

Yep, I get exactly what you mean, but not a glow stick in sight. However, you may have had one after reading it
