Help! I am losing my mind over a quicksand scene I saw either in the late 50's or 60's. A farmer is chasing these young kids out of his farm when he stumbles into quicksand. He was wearing a hat. He went down fairly quickly as the kids watched. As his head goes under the hat stays on top of the quicksand, but it made a slapping sound as it left the departed head.
I am in my late 50's, and that scene is burned in my brain. I have reviewed every quicksand site and still no luck.
