Hey all. For a while now, me and the babe have wanted to bring Hitachis into our sex life, with or without WAM. I have seen several people using Hitachi wands in WAM videos however, and it's made me curious:
Are there any risks involved in getting messy with a Hitachi wand? Like, risk of damaging the wand, risk of shock to anybody involved, things like that? I imagine it would be wiser to buy a cordless wand, which I'm considering doing - it's just a bit more expensive, and since we're both pretty broke, we'd like to get away with the corded one, if possible.
Does anybody have any advice on WAMming with a Hitachi? If so, please post here or message me! I may be buying one as soon as tomorrow, so I'd like to figure things out ASAP. Thanks all.
You'd be much better off with a Lelo wand, they are waterproof and lots of fun in the goo. They are rechargeable and do last a long time between charges.
I'd use only any electrical gadget which is definitely waterproof. A low voltage might be safe in theory, but, even if you didn't get a shock, a short-circuit could damage it. Even a low-voltage rechargeable battery can get hot enough to burn or leak nasty chemicals if short-circuited,

I'd LOVE to see this!

I think the biggest shock is going to be to you, as you watch her play with it while getting pied!

Wireless (& waterproof) is definitely the better way to go.

Both Ariel & Jayce have used one while wamming. I seem to remember that it got damaged while being cleaned or something. They can probably give you some advice.
Thanks for the advice so far everyone! Norman, I did send Jayce a message on the subject a week or so ago, but have yet to hear a response. :c
I've never heard of a Lelo wand before, but I'll definitely look into it. The shop I'm going to in NYC might even have one. I know they have corded and cordless Hitachis, if nothing else...
Do not use a plug-in Hitachi near anything wet. Full stop. Even says it right on their website. :ahahah: :ahahah: :ahahah:
I've been meaning to address it for a while, but imo, we've been pretty lucky nobody's been hurt so far. There's no actual barrier between the outside and the very basic circuitboard which plugs right into the service for your wall outlet, so unless you're using a cordless one (which I believe is waterproof anyway), don't.
