Hi all, I've just seen the news about the Mostwam situation and seen that there stores have been removed. Not getting into the issue but I have bought clips from before and now searching my computer I can't find them. I had downloaded them as I was watching the amber and Casey halloween trick or treat one just a few days ago.

I was wondering has the removal of the store affected my ability to view my clips? I don't see how it would but I wondered if anyone else had had any issues?

Removing a store from the UMD website isn't going to remove files from your computer. If you downloaded those videos, you should still have them; if you deleted them by mistake, you'll need to contact the store owner (which will be difficult in this case).

Thanks for replying that's kind of you. No I didn't think removing a store from UMD would affect an already previously downloaded file. I have managed to locate the files on my Mac now, for some reason they aren't being indexed correctly so despite searching the correct file types and file names nothing was appearing. It just made me concerned given I knew I'd viewed some of them very recently when the site was still active on UMD and wondered whether they had only been in the cloud or something and there was a link however unlikely.

I was ab le to find them now by checking the dates I purchased the files and running back through my downloaded folder for the same date period. Still no idea why they aren't indexable its possible my computer has run out of memory and this is causing the issues.
