That's why I'm all for the GIFs! After the editing and the pic grabs AND the uploading AND the HTML update AND the store update, I rarely feel like doing GIFs on top of that... Glad folks have bought vids because of them!

(This is also the reason I don't make teaser vids anymore either...)

I'll have to concur with the GIFs encourage sales argument.

Pics can only do so much.

I've seen 30 photos of a scene that didn't really grab me at all, and then seen a GIF of the same scene and been moved to buy just because of it.

The return of GIFs to the internet really amused me at first considering GIFs were a big part of the early days of the web, but I have to say that the HQ nature of the images and their prevalence as advertising and meme related tools has really sold me on them as a part of the modern browsing experience.

My only gripe is that sometimes I'll see a GIF of an awesome part of a scene and have ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING CLUE where it's from or who produced it. I love that people are creating these things, but I'd also love them be embedded with metadata that points to the original scene and where it's from (so as to buy it if possible)

Thank you for the public service announcement regarding my gifs. I am glad that you and others have enjoyed them. The real credit though needs to go to the producers that I am making the gifs from as all I do is take a little snippet of their work and advertise it just the way it is. I enjoy watching WAM a lot in case you didn't guess, and I also enjoy finding the next great Gif to post!

I am just glad that the producers allow me to make them because I have run into a few that won't allow me to.

Thanks for the feedback. In regards to your only gripe, note taken! I don't know any way to "embed matadata" into the scene but I can certainly include the producers scene info within the Gif!

Just a heads up that I'm adding Mr. Pies' GIFs to the website. They will be under the thumbnails for the corresponding scenes with a generic "GIF1," "GIF2" as a placeholder. But clicking on each opens a different window for the GIF to load.

Hmm... When, exactly?
GIFs don't have sound, so sometimes it's not exactly what it looks like.

The Angie stuff is fresh in my mind, and (for instance), I liked tapping her on the shoulder to talk to her while she was completely pie-covered. She was really good at not wiping and still carrying on a typical conversation, which I find incredibly cute. (And doesn't happen all that often!)

With the Erin one, I think that's just a Stooges/Laurel & Hardy move. Like, the pie hit... and... Done. (A tap on the head would probably be more humiliating, I guess.)
