If you don't like 480p, then don't buy the clips... and possibly send a message to the producer asking them to upgrade. There's plenty of us out there making true HD content.
On the flipside, I still re-render content DOWN to 480p because some customers prefer that, either due to file size or system limitations. (Of course, I still have the original content in HD.)

It's too bad that some people can only piss and moan. "Back in the day" when you could only order vcr tapes I sent a nice email to George at GP Videoproductions in Australia telling him that his tapes were not high enough quality to handle slow-motion and stop action functions on the vcr. I preferred MK's tapes because they allowed such even though George had better content for my tastes. From then on every tape from George was on the very highest quality tape you could buy.
"Back in the day" 14kbps was an UPGRADE!! So downloading a movie was a preposterous idea that was not even dreamed of.

1- You are not the most important person in the world 2- Your opinions on what is shit quality are not universally accepted. 3- The vids Ken is posting now were likely shot 5+ years ago, so "getting with the times" is likely not applicable. 4- There is plenty of HD content out there if that's more important to you. 5- There are a great many more mature ways to approach the topic, say with a poll or questions rather than calling out specific producers as outdated.
Ideally both options would be offered as Rich does, but throwing a tantrum about it accomplishes nothing.
Oh Yeah! (pelvic thrust)

i won't feel sorry for asking a completely a valid question.
1. I know very well that a lot of producers upload in HD , I just don't see any reason why a professional producer would stick to filming in 480p? unless his stuff dates back to 2008-2009 , god even in 2010 camera that could filmed in 720p were not that expensive !
2. fine lets say its old stuff , why does it say (year of production: 2016) next to the video and why does the producer selling it 10$ for a scene , that's fucking ridiculous.
3.I'v already sent a email with no response as of today
4. i see the usernames of some of you guys , and i think some are a bunch of hypocrites for telling me i shouldn't complain , when most of you complain every week about things Like Chega mais (conexoas models) pie shows , ETC... you're telling me i don't have the right to call out the fact that we're in 2016 and we're entering the 4K era and some producers still upload and charge exorbitant amounts for a completely outdated quality . fuck off mate .
5.about saying that some people don't have computer powerful enough to handle a 1080p video... well , they could just give the option to download it in 480p for those snowflakes , but look , i think that if your computer can't handle 1080p videos ... its time to upgrade to something other than windows 98 .
6. ''Your opinions on what is shit quality are not universally accepted'' i'm sorry but there's preferences and there's facts , you're going to tell me that 480p is better than 1080p? i'm sorry if you prefer to watch videos that have been filmed with a fucking potato but I think anyone who knows tech and computers can agree that 1080p is better than 480p .
7. Like i said before complaining about the quality I said (the videos are great ) and i would've loved to buy them , the only reason i made this thread is because i was wondering why , but obliviously that was to much for some of you to handle, even tho like i said , i never post but i look at the thread but i look at at other's post and you guys complain on a daily basis .

I don't see how the hostile replies are unexpected. If he had been polite in phrasing his question, he probably would have gotten more polite responses.

Jason_K416 said: ew 1080p... comeon Nintendoeater get with the times, 1080p is so 2008. If its not 7680 4320 then you can't even tell its garbage because the resolution is too low for your eyes to discern that its in fact garbage.
I mean take a minute to realize what you're saying. A lot of content that even released today was taken sometimes years ago. I mean should I bitch at MK because I can't get SSS vids at 4k or 8k? Furthermore, not every producer has the same capabilities (read: wallet size). Some don't do this full time, some do it on the side. There have been many posts about how much money producers actually make on WAM content.
So yeah, someone will start putting out 8k vids soon, I'm sure. They will be 50GB a vid and cost you $39.95 a clip, have fun with that.
Wow you're comparing 1080p , something my fuckin cellphone can do ! vs 4K you said it yourself 1080p as been around since 2008 so how comes videos that are a couple of years old couldn't be 1080p , i'm sorry but anglefan is suppose to be one of the best producer on this site .
I'm glade some people can see how ridiculous these guys are being . stop kissing the producers ass , you're giving them hard earned cash for their productions , the day its free they can upload in fucking black and white if they want .
I think they can handle a little bit of criticism without blowing their brains out
I think that a producer needs to clearly state a re-release vs a new video. I have seen many movies from producers labeled as new 2016 that I have on my computer from 2009 and 2010. It is a ploy being used to generate revenue from cycled off clips. I understand rotating the stock as far as clips are concerned and rotating things in every so often and then rotating them out. I think it is good to rotate the stock to give people a chance to pick up things they may have wanted but did not have funds for, or to give new people to your site a chance at some old content. Since it was brought up already, I do not mind using SSS as an example. Yes the videos are dated. But the prices also reflect that. I like the model that has been chosen to put as much up as possible and let people choose. I see nothing wrong with doing this because they are still some great videos! It all comes down to what you want. If you like a scene and you think that 10 bucks for a 480p quality video is worth it pick it up. If you don't think it is worth it, pass on it. This is not a business where the producers will get rich. I am sure there are a lot that are happy to break even. It is because of that in my mind people would still use 480p cameras. If you want to give them a better camera for their shoots, I am sure they would appreciate the donation.
