Personally, given her ability to find herself in gooey situations like the mud scene in House o' Gucci (don't waste your time) , I think we've pretty much got a lock on seeing her re-create a live action birthday pie emergence for the Joker's B-day.

The joker was a deadly serious movie to a fault even so I can't see Harley Quinn getting messy. Although I do think someone could easily talk Lady Gaga into wam she def seems open to being plastered by pies but that won't happen on screen so
I dunno: Joker 2 is a musical, so there goes the serious angle. Only thing that seems to be absent so far according to reports is the occasional union pee break.

This^. I mean, I can understand their desire to stay away from the DCU's creative decision of Suicide Squad and do their own thing and such but Margot is Harley just as Ryan is Deadpool/Wade, Hugh is Wolverine/Logan and Robert is Iron Man/ Tony Stark. Could Gaga excel? Meh. Maybe but public opinion is a hard critic. She can act a bit but Margot is such a versatile actress, I'd say she is every bit as versatile as Charlize Theron and her portrayal in Suicide Squad is hard one to follow.
Gaga as Quinn is by far the aspect of this movie I'm most intrigued by, as someone who is relatively over both the Joker and Harley Quinn in their current context. Margot Robbie is a brilliant actor and defines the role well, but she's got no shortage of interesting roles in the pipeline. Gaga isn't the actor Robbie is, but she can definitely act and will bring something unique to the role. And since Joker 2 is a musical, she'll stand out in a big way.
As for WAM, I try not to get my hopes up for these types of scenes (where they'd fit) in movies. It's possible, and Lady Gaga certainly wouldn't be opposed to it, but I won't hold my breath.
