This is something I have always wanted to know before becoming an amateur producer, and now both myself and The Wife are more curious than ever.

The question is simple: How long does a single sliming need to fall continuously for it to be considered a long slime.

I think 20s is a fair time. How long does it take to empty a normal size bucket of gunge ? I don't know i guess it depends how you hold the bucket and the amount of flow....there has to be a gunge flow/bucket size equation

Quite a few years ago now I did some call centre training. One of the exercises saw us all pretend to be on the phone while the trainer put us on "hold", and then when he finally hung up the phone asked us how long we thought we'd been left in silence. We all said something between two and four minutes. In fact it had been just thirty seconds. Time seems to pass very slowly when you are waiting for something to happen, or stop happening, and much more quickly when you are watching something you enjoy.

So for the person receiving the gunging, even if they are really enjoying it, a 30 second pour will seem like a long time, however for the audience that will seem fairly short.

So I'd guess that to count as a long sliming for a viewer, probably a full minute would be good. However it's going to feel like an eternity of slime for the person receiving it, which may of course also be a good thing.

This would be a genius math equation!
For me, the poll question assumes that the pour itself was not too thin/thick...just an average pour with consistency not mattering.

I always try to make sliming my girlfriend longer lasting. But I get too excited.

But seriously, try using a colander. It makes the slimings go way longer... for the same amount of slime.

I was literally scrolling in anticipation of the Robby comment. I'd be interested in Candy's answer as she has an "infinity gunge tank" that works like a fountain.

Very interesting to see the results thus far. I'm happy that most of ours fall into the 60 second or longer category! lol.
