Just wanted to give everyone attempting to find mud this late summer. Keep your eyes out for ivy, oak, and sumac. Always wear close toed shoes and long pants no matter how hot it is. Just got a bad case of sumac on my toes and it was not worth the search . Play safe, everyone.
Ouch, sorry to hear that. We've had good luck with the poison ivy scrubs on the market, but an expert on the subject said if you realize it right away you can use a detergent soap (like Palmolive) and a rough washcloth and scrub thoroughly to break up the oil. Localize the scrubbing - you don't want to spread the oil around.
