So as I no longer own Dirty Muse and I am working with Messy Girl and Penlope on future movies I have come across an opportunity to own a house near several estuaries with lots of 'Pluff Mud' I usually build my own mud pits but back in the Rob Blane days we would shoot videos in Nature, in the open and it was great, so surreal and so much of the stuff Apparently is is common in this area for locals to play in it.
So what the hell is Pluff Mud? I see an opportunity for play, sex and possible movies in this Mud. Does anyone have experience with this stuff? Is it safe? Is it safe for sex?
Its stinky black/dark grey mud with a lot of rotting plant matter in it. I used to play in it regularly when I lived in North Carolina. Never had any issues with it. Just be careful and make sure there aren't razor clam shell beds in it.

We have a lot of it here and there is no issue at all, washing of is sometimes tricky. As already mentioned looking out for mussels in it.
The main issue with pluff mud is the incoming tide as there can be a quicksand layer under it sometimes that will lock a foot quickly. And the shell bits in some of it and wee creatures. Some of it has a sulphurous compound in it that can get on your skin and take days to wash off.

If it's anything like the tidal mud we get here in the UK it is simply amazing. Changes with every high tide and is amazing. Care with tide times to be observed. If its washed with Salt water water twice a day then it should be fairly safe!! What a place to retire!!
So my husband and I vacationed in South Carolina for a week we went out on 3 mud excursions. 1 in swimsuits and 2 completely nude. The mud was silky and quickly coated us. It feels amazing but you have to be careful of deep pockets. Definitely do not attempt on your own! You have to watch tidal patterns. The mud washes off skin but will stain clothing. If you are like me I was also turned on by how stinky it was. Locals play in it. Definitely be cautious of razor clam beds as the name implies they are just sharp clam shells. The mud we had was soft, stinky, smelly black slop. If we have a chance I would move to the area just for the mud. We did not have sex submerged in the mud, next time! But we fucked plenty of times coated and out of it. I blew him countless times and his mud covered cock tasted like salty earth?

I think everyone has seen CTS element by Amy greenfield LOL
I am looking for a house in Charleston, alas it's not a cheap area so the houses really close to the Pluff Mud are $2M and up but what a great area for a Mud lover, a great city full of history and many eccentric people. Plus its the deep South and the BBQ is to die for LOL
If you look at Google Earth there is a plethora of places, I am sure many of them are private. I am English and many many years ago my wife and I would go to the Bristol channel to play. Unfortunately England is a rather chilly place and I am a pussy when it comes to the cold, but Summer in SC is super warm. I moved to the US to be with her and we found great Mud in Texas.
How do you spot the razor clams? Are they on the surface? The smell does not bother me, my favorite smells in the whole world are fresh bread and wet dog LOL Getting out of deep pockets might be a challenge, the usual way is to belly flop and wriggle free, but I know the subsurface of Pluff Mud can be extremely thick so that might be a challenge. I know of another couple from Michigan who used to post pics on here and then disappeared form the UMD. Awesome pics, do you have any you are willing to post of your adventures?

Ditto on the shellfish - some of those buggers are *sharp*. I've noticed they tend to frequent certain areas over others, though, so if you see one shell, there'll definitely be more around. Just take the initial sink nice & easy.
