Anyone lucky enough to be in Amsterdam? Theres a an art exhibition there through late next month. "The Mary Sue Project" solo show has photos of characters getting hit with a pie, like the one here. The second photo (with cake) seems to be 'inspired' by the 'cake smash' (/ 'pity party') genre * (typically featuring birthday photo portraits).

The artist here (a woman) has a fairly complete series of cosplay / fairy tale / super hero pie hit photos (not great coverage form a wam perspective, but aesthetically quite excellent).

This seems to be an exhibition by one creator (I think she is playing all characters, but might be wrong here).

She's been doing things for years - and there's a video on her page of her about to blow a cake and get attacked with water and such. Seems like it was done in 2004 (as written)
