I've ben using Cool Whip to make pies, which has been great, but costly and a bit of a pain to make lots of pies. Wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a powder or mix I can buy in bulk that would make a good substitute.
A $55 case of it whips up into 15 gallons of awesome non-dairy topping. You need a stand mixer or a lot of patience with a hand mixer, but the results are awesome

this looks fantastic! gonna have to add this to our supply!
I dont know where you live but we have dollar tree by us. They almost always have cool whip tubs. I can make a whole pie for 3 bucks (pudding, cream, crust) from that store as long as your ok with graham cracker crust... which generally I hate. I like the bakery crust. However checking out with 12 pie crusts, tubs of cream, and pudding is a little on the nose and generally gets a look lol. Just shrug it off.
