The owner of her store had her stuff taken down back then also.
And honestly, I don't really think the COD is something that needs to be discussed here.
Since many Phoebe Rodriguez videos are no longer for sale, can you all share pics from said videos?
RIP Phoebe Rodriguez
When a store closes, or a model's content is no longer it is unfortunately something you just have to accept. The lesson here is to get content while you can and not delay purchasing as producers and models CAN and DO come and go for all sorts of reasons. I see far too many posts on here searching for old content where a producer has taken down the older content, left the scene altogether, or the model has requested the content to be taken down for their own reasons (moved onto new career, family, privacy etc).
Sharing photos from the scenes without the producer and/or model's consent is still against the spirit of things and whilst may not technically be classed as copyright breach if properly credited (and publicly available), is not the right way to handle things.

I can see why thinking about that would spoil the mood a bit. However, that's the case for lots of films. E.g. the Three Stooges were mainly active in the 1930s and 1940s, and none of them are around anymore. Similarly, with something like Star Trek (the original series) or Babylon 5, a significant number of the cast have died. I think it's ok to enjoy the material that people produced while they were alive, as long as you're not talking about snuff films.
Quite, flank. I was going to say, surely the enduring popularity of Natalie Wood in The Great Race around here alone means a lot of people have no issue with it.

A slight difference might be that unlike Hollywood movie stars, she was part of this community, so s bit closer than a distant start nonevof us have sny hope of meeting. Even so though, agreed there's no harm those who own copies of them still enjoying her films. Does feel different someone asking for freebies though. I'm inclined to think once the door to the tomb is closed, that's it somehow, we shouldn't knowingly share even promo pics. I quite like that so far no one has posted any to this thread. To me that shows that we're a mindful community.
For myself it's more of the fact it wasn't something that she personally cared for and by many accounts was pressured to do by her boyfriend, than anything else that I respect the right to privacy in ending her run here and moving on, even before her death.
As far as Natalie wood goes, I leave it to a individual about Ms Rodriguez vs Ms Wood on whether they feel comfortable sharing photos of them with each other, simply because it's not my business, and I won't draw a distinction based on the fact that one was part of the community and one wasn't, because for me that gets to far into determining the value of respecting a person's privacy after their death on whether we may have had a brief interaction with them or not. (Especially considering Natalie wood's mysterious tragic unsolved death that was murder most likely)
The reality is the vast majority of folks here never interacted with either actresses, or ever had a chance to. To those who enjoy the content of both enjoy it, as long as it's done respectfully to the actresses, and it's not meant to offend others who may be more sensitive to it.
I do draw the line personally at sharing her videos because that technically is still piracy of her work.

I agree but the internet is forever unfortunately which is one of the reasons I would hesitate to post sensitive pictures at all. Phoebe can be found on popular GIF sites just by typing 'Pie in the Face'. Which is kind of funny to think about.
Even before her passing, I think she got married and buttoned up what she could to go back to being a private person (as some other models and producers have). I'm sorry to read that she passed.
I recall she wrote a book many years back. I never read it and do not even know what it was called, just remember seeing something about it. Believe the theme of it had to do with her younger partying years and drug use. No clue if it touched upon anything WAM related

Well, the main difference here is the different kind of "joy" we get from them. We laugh at the 3 Stooges because that's what they wanted, and they'd be thrilled to know they're bringing joy to people in 2022.
It's a good bit different than getting your rocks off to it, especially when we know Phoebe didn't really want to do it anyway. We're still sexualizing someone who wasn't comfortable to start with and isn't around anymore to express that. We know how the 3 Stooges felt, and we know how Star Trek and Babylon 5 felt about their work.

Depending on someone's interest in wam, or what or whom they find attractive it's hard to say that for sure that everyone's interest In the three stooges was purely slapstick and nothing more.
And as for Natalie wood the odds are absolutely zero that no one ever has gotten off to that scene after her death in the 80s.
I'm not going to judge how a person views any of those actors and actresses as long as they're respectful and not pushing things in public that make others uncomfortable or break the law. if someone chooses they wish to enjoy their private collection in their own time that's their business.
To me the main point of respecting her privacy is the fact that she distanced herself while she was alive because she was coerced into something that made her uncomfortable and she had to "put on a brave face" that's what I find more disturbing.
But piracy like uploading videos is another matter completely where I draw the line.

I have also read that pies were her boyfriend's fetish and not hers, but to say she was pressured into it and would have hated to see her pics posted here today makes it sound like she was doing it against her will with a metaphorical gun to her head. I refuse to believe that for a second.
And therefore I think that if pics were posted as a testimonial to her and her work, it wouldn't and shouldn't be a big deal.

It would be nice to at least find images from "Lizzy Tries Pie," but now I get why they're no longer available.
