Yes! Navidad came early this year! 
Well, THAT'S a firsttimer: two women pie-ing each other! 
During the first year of the show, that was happening all the time. Back then it was just kids and it was ALWAYS two males and two females per team.
When celebrities came on and the show went live, they still kept pairing the same gender against each other, although it was more free-form. (Teams of six or eight, random people in costumes, etc.) As time went on, they started moving more towards gender square-off, until it finally evolved into a "format" of four guys vs. four girls.
Don't know her name, but one of the hottest women EVER on this show was team captain and pied her female rival 3 times while staying absolutely clean in one early episode. Still the biggest missed opportunity for PoR.

I pointed out the woman-woman pieing because that's how pieing should be done: directly to the face, but circular motion as wide as possible.

Some guys do the pieings well (the CM guys have mostly been getting better, except for the twins, who are useless in every possible way imaginable).... But yes, a lot of these dudes do the pieing as you describe, and wind up half-assing the face hit AND the hair coverage. (I know they don't care about the details of a pieing like we do, but still....)
Given the choice, though, I'd still have an average guy giving the pie on these shows versus an average female. Because the women have a BAD tendency to do the "nose/chin" pie, which is an absolute waste. And it tends to manifest when women are pieing each other, almost an agreed-upon "I *have* to pie you according to the rules, but I'll give you the weakest pie imaginable, then you do the same next time..."

Hah. I love this show, great to see some discussion about it as I've watched a few episodes on Youtube.
I think the battle of the sexes format is great. It's nice of course to see attractive ladies getting pied and I also find it fun when the ladies win, especially if they are a bit of a tease, and tantilise their opponent a bit before giving him his torta, knowing there is nothing he can do about it!
It's also good fun when someone who looks stuck-up loses and has to take their pie.
I agree that lads pieing ladies' hair deliberately is poor form.
Finally, another element I like about it is that, in the 4 v 4 format I've watched anyway, players are repeatedly up against the same opponent. In an episode I watched, one particular guy didn't get any of the seven questions he was asked correct, so he took seven pies from the same, rather nice, girl. I'm guessing he probably wasn't as pleased as I'd be in this situation!

Rich, do you happen to remember which episode this is? Nelle Struzziato, the absolutely gorgeous brunette with the striking blue eyes who's often the yellow team assistant, is one of my favorites.
I did some digging and it's the show from 5/17. (17/05/15 if you're looking on YouTube.) Obviously I can't link it here due to the overwhelming influx of kids.
I guess it's worth watching if you wanna torture yourself with what might've been. Pretty sure your assistant is indeed the one who gets "pied"... and I put that word in quotes considering the end result....

Just to put it in perspective (and frustrate you even further).... This is what happens to the only other adult who gets pied on this show.
And this is the sequence: Female guest (older but not unattractive) goes up against younger Justin Bieber idiot guest... Misses question... And then spends five minutes wasting time and pleading her case on how she CAN'T possibly get pied. (Even though she decided to do the "miss a question and get pied" thing of her own accord.)
Finally, the host, to appease her (or just to keep the show from completely grinding to a halt), decides to lure a poor stagehand into "taking her place." So he takes the bullet, does the nice thing to soothe the fragile ego of the diva guest... And gets absolutely DESTROYED for his good deed.
In case you're wondering if a similar sequence of events will EVER occur with the genders reversed on any Latin American show... No. No it will not.

Below is Nelle. She did get a bit of cream on her in one episode a few weeks back when a very energetic guy on yellow got pied and threw his head back, splattering her and a good portion of the front row with pie.

I think if you're waiting for the assistants on PoR to take a pie (ON camera)... You might as well take a seat and get comfortable. I say that happens the same week as the Chega Mais hostess finally gets pied! (42 weeks and still pie free!!)
I think a PoR male assistant got pied, albeit not on camera. It popped up in an Instagram pic or something. Makes me think the female assistants MIGHT get pied behind the scenes from time to time... But they're too embarrassed to post pics on social media, and since it's not part of the show we'll never see it happen....

The show shuts down for a month after Christmas, so they're shooting episodes now to air during that dead period.

If there are any WAM producers in Brazil they should contact the Chega Mais women and make an offer.
With the exception of a few of the women I don't see any with self-sustaining modeling careers.
With a built in WAM following a video featuring a Chega Mais model could be a big seller.
