Prompted me to do some digging and there appears to be few other paint splashing scenes in HK/Chinese/Korean shows.

1) "Beautiful You" Ep27 - Tian Zi-Tian gets splashed with dark green paint in a parking garage (see at 26:22): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uecaY8XClUA
