Although I've come to UMD for many years now and since then I have seen so many wonderful messy videos and pictures. But it does seem to me that there isn't that many videos that last for over an hour or so!
You see what I would to see here, is something like Tiswas but of course an adult version, now before you jump at my point, I know Tiswas was a kids programme and I realise this isn't for kids, so I know that. But would there be a simliar style of messy programme's like Tiswas or not?!
Because I think that be a better way of watch people getting gunged or pies into peoples faces, rather than just a short clip that would last, just I don't know, 20 minutes say, for instance?!
When I was a young kid I used to watch Tiswas every Saturday morning almost without fail. For anyone who doesn't know about Tiswas, well you missed one of the best programmes for getting people messy with all kinds of different things!
They used to do games, like past the pie! There was a small cage full of people inside and where someone would come along and throw buckets after buckets of cold water or gunge, whatever was close to hand, of course the people inside this cage, got soaked to the skin with all the water thrown at them. lol
There was also a game called Pie the Teacher! Where a teacher would come along and get covered in allsorts of messy stuff, custard pies, gunge thrown all over the place. Excellant programme it was too, so basicly what I was wondering if we could do something like that but obviously an adult version of getting messy, where you'd play different games during the programme that would last about an hour or two!

I think that the main reason that no one produces hour long films with multiple models/girls/people with gallons of gunge and hundreds of pies is MONEY. It is not a realistic endeavour to create something on such a big scale without a studio, multiple cameras, lighting, basically a production team and a big budget.

Just think about what you are asking for a minute. Could you afford to produce that idea? How much do you think it would cost and how many people here do you think have that kind of cash?

IF anyone here could make something like that, they would have done already.

But, I think the closest thing to it would probably be something from the Moomins. But they will tell you the amount of time it takes to produce just one episode, let alone the organisation and the cost.

Jessie is right. The amount of cash that would have to be invested would be tremendous. However, if the demand for purchasing was there it would work but I can't think of a producer who would risk that much money in the hope of a grand sale. You would probably like Top Gunge (http://www.topgunge.com). That is amazing work and has the game format you mention.

Dude I will produce for an hour but only if you pay. The scale is huge as is the costs, and then there is no guarantee that people will buy what you have produced. Unfortunately models, materials and producing don't come free or cheap

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the last few releases from the Valentine Network have been nearly an hour each. Simple plots, lots of good quality glamor shots, and really hot women.

Tip: There's a new one coming out any day now that should be amazing. It has one porn star, one fashion model, great props, and the house got trashed! Can't wait to see the footage myself.

The ones who came closest were the hour-long Messy Fun video series by Rob Blaine the hour-long Mark Kelly videos: SSS series, feature-length "Castaways on Jungle Jane's Island", which were simultaneously minor musical-wam masterpieces, and the earliest WSM series of videos.

Funny - it's a good topic you brought up, because, I didn't think about it until you started this thread, that nobody makes feature-length hour-length WAM videos anymore. In fact, not since the 1990s.

The market's a bit different now. Back then, it was 3-4 large producers catering to EVERY niche in every single video, which were sold only as a complete tape/DVD for $35+.
Now you have literally hundreds of producers focusing on every niche and sub-niche under the sun, selling the clips one by one as downloads for $1 and up.

I personally don't want to go back to the days of having to buy an entire $35 hour-long tape just to get the 5-minute pie scene I wanted to see. And I suspect I'm in the majority.

I have plenty of hour-long DVDs with multiple scenes if you'd like to buy them! But if you're like 99% of my customers, you prefer to pick and choose the downloads...

We did one shoot a few years ago with 350 pies that we split into 3 different videos as it was so long. We do sell it as a bundle of all 3 films which do kind of link into each other.The other answer is to maybe buy video bundles, we've got one of all of Keely and Chrissies videos.

Can I just say first of all, a BIG thank you to all of you who reply to my post here. OMG I didn't think I'd get this many, WOW I am in shock to the response I got for this!!!
Secondly I am fully aware about all the cost of things, arranging models etc to all the messy work and it probably take alot of time and effort to get these scene to last over an hour, NOT easy I am sure of that.

Jessie! I fully understand what you mean, I can see where you are coming from when you said about the cost of the things to producing an hour or so scene.

Continue from what I was saying about Tiswas and what it was like. The programme wasn't all about getting gunged and getting pied all the time, Oh no! The programme would also having music from a famous pop singers and bands, theres was interviews with famous celebraties who would come along and just chat about what they doing, in between the messy games! Does anyone here know about Tiswas?! Because if you do, hopefully you'd know what I'm talking about!
So having said all of that above, Here is an idea ok, there just ideas, nothing else, "IF" for instance say you do two say 20 minutes messy scenes Ok But you would only do the first 20 minutes and then plus an interview with someone you want to talk to, say about a ten minute slot just talking about, why they do this, what made them do videos like this in the first place, you could ask the person allsorts of questions to make the hour video scene interesting, OK this is just as an example! (I am not saying you have to do exactly to what I'm saying!) And then you would do the second messy scene straight after the interviews for the next 20 minutes, and theres your hour video! Something simliar to that anyway.

For those who have not heard of Tiswas, check out Youtube, there are a few excerpts on there. There was always the very smart continuity announcer who used to come into the studio at the end of the show to introduce the next programme. for years they left him alone, perhaps scared to pie him. But one day he got it! Boy did he get it! He had to do his next piece to camera, unrecogniseable under a big pile of pies. His suit was wrecked and I'll bet that wasn't cheap.

For the record there was an short-lived adult version called OTT. The opening of each show was marked by a blonde girl (usually) in a white bikini having custard poured over her shoulder. The camera would follow the track of the custard all the way down over her breasts and belly and her miniscule bikini bottoms. Somehow it didn't gel with the public, I suppose Tiswas, aimed at children was regarded as being "naughty" whereas the adult version being "permitted" didn't have the naughty factor. The show didn't last more than one or two seasons. Also the stars got fed up of having buckets of water tipped over them whenever they were out in public.

Tiswas used to a British programme from ATV at the time, which these days is called ITV/ Central and they used to have a studio in Birmingham (UK).

Lenny and I were actually just discussing something along these lines during his shoot in LA last week (gonna be a good one btw. Maybe his best in years. The models were awesome! 4 models, 3 of them genuine friends = great vibe, real fun, good stuff!. Those will be a series of 10 minute clips most likely). Back to what we were discussing - I used to buy Lenny's and Mark Kelly's videos off the shelf (VHS) in a NYC porn shop. There was only one shop that carried them. Mark and Lenny had distribution! Way back then you would expect a VHS tape to be at least an hour. You would be vaguely interested in the whole thing (on first view), but mainly only interested in the one scene that you bought it for. You can imagine a pre-cell-phone, brink-of-internet, closet-pie-freak's reaction to seeing those videos on a shelf in NYC. With NYC-porn-shop-scumbag mark-up, I think I paid like $60 or $70 per. Ah, the memories!

There are video clps from the programme Tiswas on Youtube if you like to take a look but for obvious reasons I can't put them up on here as there is kids involved and are included in these. "IF" did look at them, they probably give you some ideas of what I'm talking about here!

SStuff?! You really do excellant scenes with your models and how they do it is just amazing on your web-sites and if you was to meet up with Lenny. And again Lenny?! Yours are the same, you do excellant video clips with your models aswell and with you both doing those messy scenes I am sure they would last, well more than an hour footage I am sure, like you said with Lenny, that would be great, I'd look forward to seeing those "IF" you finally get round to doing it!

Well those scenes are really good from you wsmproductions. They are the sort of scenes I'm looking for. The games you do, the sort messy food items you use is excellant.
Like you say it is sad that Tara gave it all up, I'm sure she had her reasons for leaving!
All it really needs I feel is to continue with you good messy work for alittle longer by doing something else "like a chat", as an example and then go back to it doing the mess!
