In 2022, we promise not to chase ratings, lose focus and stay entirely unique and different to every other wam website out there. To remain light-hearted, fun and fully clothed
We know we are privileged in this very small but intimate industry, certainly the luckiest team there is having Messyworld as our workplace. It's not everyone who will go and fire up The Human Carwash or prepare The Plunga! this Monday morning
We are a very commercially successful website but we're not arrogant, we realize that all we do is cover people, and ourselves, in mess, gunge & pies. It's not exactly groundbreaking drama production but it is fun, and that's the main thing, we all need more fun and laughter and sexiness right now in this world.
We won't need to mass produce or strive to be a market leader. Life's too short and we don't need to, we know how brilliant we are already . Plus, there's lots we want to do out there, both wam and non-wam. Like everyone else, we're just a niche wam webite and we know that.
All we want to do is have some fun. But if you do want to see something more creative, you'll be able to join some of your messyworld favourites for some serious gritty drama productions later this year, but that's off topic. The main thing is, we'll keep having a laugh and all getting seriously messy, creating weird contraptions and trashing very expensive outfits.
We won't cheapen it, dumb down or become goofy, we won't go adult and smutty and we won't be afraid to poke fun at ourselves and occasionally the market when it starts taking itself too seriously.
We will close our main studios after 7 years to focus on our core passion of theatre and drama production this year, but we will open a new studio in the autumn dedicated to messy production as we want to diversify our output and allow more time for non-wam stuff as well.
We may not be regarded as wam fetishists, but come on, don't we do this well? We've achieved in 10 years what some have tried to achieve in an entire lifetime, and we know how lucky and fortunate we are to have done that. All thanks to our core and dedicated supporters out there who are regarded as part of our team
We hope you once again join us for some messy fun this year and hope to see more of you at one of our studios this year, it's been great meeting some of you and gunging you this past 12 months.
Happy New Year to all the amazing wammers and slapstick fans who know how to live life to the max
I think you have something really unique and you definitely have a niche. When you have such large, complex contraptions set up and are doing well it would be easy just to run with that. Seems like a lot of work and expense to shut the studio you have and set up a fresh one. It's a brave decision.
How much of the current contraptions are you going to try to maintain in the studio move?

Tbh, possibly not many. We have a 2 series policy to constantly keep things fresh (except for the human carwash and the gunge tank, maybe the plunga! too), but we very quickly and easily get bored and want to try something new
The new studios are actually much bigger and much better and we have a big live interactive gameshow in the pipeline with some new producers (male and female) as our main producer (for the past 7 years) is stepping back to work on something new and vanilla. So, big change is coming all round
So this may not be in the realm of possibility, but maybe an East Enders, Neighbors style soap opera mini series like life of slime? Each episode could fun for maybe 5 minutes each?

Yep, LOS2 is filming in the late Spring (female and male versions) so similar scripted scenes are possible like that of the Apartment 19 series

We'll be honest, we are a bit reluctant atm, but we'll see.
The community here on UMD isn't very supportive of us, hence why we are looking elsewhere for new ventures, so it may only be Messyworld subscribers for private sessions, or at least at first until we are more comfortable with the idea
I can understand that, but I hope you do decide on offering a few private sessions here and there - it's long been on my bucket list to hop in a gunge tank, and your contraptions are some of the best around!
