Can anyone please recommend a gunge / slime powder selling site based in the USA? I had a look online but all i could find was 'slime making' kits (the recent craze), im looking for a USA based equivalent of MessySupplies.

I am shocked there isn't a US supplier yet. I'm almost convinced I could bankroll my life by importing them chemicals in bulk and shipping them out of my garage.
Closest thing you could do would be to order the chemicals off of eBay or try something like Party Goat's slime or Slime Baff on Amazon.
Please god someone start importing this stuff so I don't have to.

They ship to the US, and while I've never bought from them I know other people who have and it doesn't seem to be too much of a hassle....
Shipping is atrocious. Not their fault, but a $20 thing of Xanthan gum costs $25 to ship. They have a great product that I'm more than willing to pay for, but when you're paying more for shipping than the gunge itself it makes it hard to justify the purchase.
Surely there must be a US chemical supplier willing to trade directly with the public regarding unregulated chemicals. Back in the day when I used to deal directly with multiple chemical companies for various substances for different types of "gunge" recipes I remember at the time I was dealing directly with a US based chemical company as my supplier for Polyethylene Oxide for my Alien Drool style slime.
These few look like promising options to enquire with for those seeking Natrosol (Natrosol being a brand name for Hydroxyethylcellulose) in the U.S. There were other links that looked promising too but I've enough work on my plate as it is.
(Personally I'd try the first two first as I reckon if they'll sell direct to you they'll be cheaper)
Now the grades of Natrosol they sell may be different from the HR250 grade that used to be used first by the Basic Chemical Company then I think the default grade for Messy Supplies but all that means is you may need to use different concentrations of it in water to get the desired thickness.
Edit: If given a choice of what grade of Natrosol to get and HR250 isn't an option it is worth noting grades that have an R in like "HR250" have been made to be easier to mix without the powder clumping and forming fish eyes so opt for a grade with an R in it.

I've considered for awhile least partner with messy supplies
I've bought this stuff before. It's not really the kind I like (it makes the apple sauce-looking slime) but it makes a MASSIVE amount of slime, and you can choose the consistency by how much you water you add.
But as well charge 20GBP for it. Those suppliers don't make the price for shipping. Transporters do, and they charge 20 GPB for it to the US.
Exactly.
The only way people can avoid being whacked by massive shipping charges is to find a supplier that gets it from a local manufacturer. Whether they buy it internationally as a regular customer or become an official distributor by partnering with the same people you're still gonna have to pay the same shipping fee to move the same quantity across an ocean.
Back when gunge had to be ordered through the Basic Chemical Company in the UK when you got to larger bulk orders with the bulk discounts going it quickly became apparent that it was on postage and packaging that became big points of losses. Fortunately as my grandmother lived in the same town the chemical company was in I was able to swing around to the chemical company itself and collect it in person to save a bundle on it (even if on one occasion I wound up picking up a large order of unlabelled white Natrosol powder from the back of chemical company outside normal work hours in an anonymous white van as anti-terror police were raiding houses in the nearby housing estate).
But anyway even if you scale up your bulk orders to become a US partner you'd still have to pay to transport the goods across the ocean to get to you, then pay additional postage to your customer and you're adding an additional person in the supply chain wanting to turn a profit. You're best off finding a local manufacturer and becoming a messy distributor to them.
Thanks for the replies gang. Didn't expect to see so much response! The postage cost is just too great to use a UK company and I don't need that much gunge powder sent, so i can't really justify going straight to the companies. I guess this explains why I see a lot watery slime and or frosting used for gunge over there!
I still buy from Messy Supplies and just buy a bunch at a time so the shipping is at least worth while. And I love their MS Thick gunge and we use it in our videos a lot.
I buy from messysupplies and absolutely love their products. Shipping is awful but I kinda treat it like a trip to sam's club or Costco and buy in bulk. It also helps to collaborate with others who live near you if possible. When I put in an order for example, Larzstord will tack on her order with me and we share the shipping.
