So, on the advice of someone else, I built a gunge tank out of a heavy duty shelving unit, a storage box, a piece of PVC tubing, and a 25mm plug. It cost me less than £100 to build. I look forward to trying it out soon. The first girl to go in it will be a surprise, but I'll share a picture of the filled tank when I can.

What size unit did you go for? I've had a similar idea in the past to this but never made it happen

Actually can't remember now. I just remember the depth of it is 400mm. I was going to go for 600mm, but that was more expensive. Ended up doing a Klarna deal, so I'm paying next month when I actually have money.

Love love love this!! Mr and I have been looking into building a gunge tank but have been throwing around various plans/schematics. This looks easy, to the point, and fairly easy to clean.
