Been watching the old messy fun Huston Mud wrestling video. So awesome. Best stuff ever. I recall another older one called frat mud wrestling. Anyone know where I can find that one? The one I am recalling had a hump in middle of pit.
Been looking for a reupload for that video myself since my old PC went into meltdown
I downloaded it when I was a member of the original Messy Fun site many moons ago...
Fraternity Mud Wrestling was another of Rob Blaine's productions (I think he hosted the event too?), most of the models were the same as the Houston event, but what made this unique was the amount of mud used and the starting point for the wrestling was "Mud Island" (the hump in the pit you mention), which was like a volcano with a mud crater!
It added a whole new dimension and was an indication of the man's innovative genius...
I haven't seen it advertised on the Messy Fun download site, but could be worth emailing Messy Fun as last I heard some of their catalogue was being remastered?
Failing that, Wamtec seem to have a few of Rob Blaine's output on there & they take requests for specific vids?
The earliest clips at http://mudwrestle.us were shot almost 12 years ago. That probably counts as "old"
The first dozen or so were shot on all analog equipment. The later ones were a mix of digital and analog. The "overhead" cam was just a security camera in the corner. Pretty terrible by modern standards, but the clips still sell.
The mudwrestling.us videos are also ones I enjoy. I have some of them as well. I wish there were bars around me that hosted this style event. I would be front row!!!!
