I was raised around a hodgepodge of christian faiths, Catholicism being the dominant one in Cincinnati. You couldn't stand on a street corner and throw a rock without hitting a church in that place. But I don't recall anything as amazing as this occurring in my town.
"The church is vague on the specific acts that would constitute a desecration, but the Code of Canon Law says a violation of a sacred place occurs "by gravely injurious actions done in them" that are "contrary to the holiness of the place.""
When I was a student one of the locations used as an exam hall was a huge Victorian baptist church that had this enormous walk-in marble baptism pool all built of pink marble with steps down into it on one side, always thought that would be a fantastic feature for a WAM dungeon. Have never tried doing anything WAM related on a church altar though!
I guess the moral of that story is "block out the damn windows!" - unles they somehow wanted to be caught?
