I (M26) have been into WAM for years but never thought I'd be interested in practicing myself. That is, until recently.
I started small with ice cream on my face, trying little bits of whatever savory items I had in my fridge. The rush was great at first, but they were all subpar for one reason or another.
Now, I love *seeing* WAM involving cake, so I picked up those boxed cake slices from the local grocery store bakery. It was very fun the first time, but I realized it very much depends on the cake itself and can be super hit or miss.
Fast forward a couple months. Today, I picked up a nice locally-baked-then-frozen chocolate cream pie from the grocery store bakery. I let it "thaw" for several hours in the fridge as instructed before doing a trial run.
Cut a couple of very small pieces and smashed them in my face. And WOW it's magical. It sticks great, spreads great, even tastes great. All around pleasant, silky, mildly cool sensation.
Now I understand why pie is such a go-to. For first time WAMmers, I'd strongly recommend. Just get one pie, smash the whole thing or even just a half or third on your/someone's face. Eat the rest!
