Okay, so I have literally been trying for years on here to meet someone for a session. I've had countless offers and replies from people near me or willing to travel who have made the plans with me and then never responded on the day that it is supposed to happen 
. Out of all of the planned meet ups, literally zero percent actually happened 
! So I'm hoping that this is FINALLY the year when I make plans with someone and then they actually keep them.

It has happened to me, and it has happened to others that I've spoken with. It might not be fair to say that WAM people are the worst; I've had similar problems with other fetishists.
As I see it, the problem is that these people want to talk about their fantasies but they have no intention of ever meeting. They engage me in a discussion about what I'll do to/with them. They ask lots of specific questions. My first clue is when they ask the same questions more than once. All they want to do is talk about their fantasy.
