Hi pals! Time's running out to get in your nominations and film submissions for the next Messtival! Last time we had a noticeable lack of wetlook nominees and films screened so this year we've included a whole category for Best Wetlook Film and want to encourage you all to submit your movies to watch in a gorgeous theatre in London, UK!
You can submit as many nominations as you like, as many times as you like: the only requirement is that you need to add a link to whatever scene you're nominating for an award - and yes, we not only allow but in fact encourage you to nominate yourself and your own scenes for any awards that you'd be eligible for! Just fill out the form at nominations.messtival.co.uk
We're also screening films! We are looking for short films around 5min - if yours is longer it would be great if you can trim it down to the best bits - and creativity, humour and style is a huge priority when we are selecting. What is Messtival, I hear you cry?
Well, if you didn't already know then you've been living under a rock, because it's only the First (and best) WAM Film Festival & Awards Ceremony, back again for another year of chaos after a roaring success at our first splosh cinema event in London in 2019.
That's right, we're putting on another event to screen your messy and wetlook films - this time, though, it's not just a cinema... We've only gone and gotten an entire bloody theatre to hold it at!
Film submissions and nominations for awards are open now so get thinking about what you'd like to submit and who you'd like to nominate! Films will be selected by a panel and awards will be voted for by the WAM community.
Submit as many nominations as you like for your favourite scenes and performers, and please submit your own content or yourself for consideration too., or ask your fans to do this for you! We want to show how varied and creative the scene is.
