Yes, this is all my own work. The story you're referring to is Spin The Bottle, not sure where you can get a copy currently. While Jo uses the same technique to get the information out, the way it ends up is different. Two girls in StB end up getting gunged, one who pulled the wrong lever and another who went in the wrong order. I thought it added more tension to end up with Jo ( despite doing everything she could to stack the deck in her favour), ending up with the choice out of her hands. Call it my homage to that part of that story. There is much more to come, a case of mistaken identity will lead to messy consequences for someone when Jo shows just how cruel she can be... part 2 coming next week.
