Makes you wonder why there aren't more in English. America conquers the free market, yet the sexiest TV is in god damn Portuguese. That's some wack-ass shit right there.
There's plenty of beautiful women in this country to do shows like they do in Latin America/South America, even in the Phillipines & Japan and yet there still has not been a U.S. version of "Fort Boyard" or any of the Latin shows like "Chega Mais", if they did "Americanized" it, it probably would be on a obscure channel that people rarely watch. Even if one of the "Major" U.S. TV networks gave it the green light (ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX), there will be a lot of hurdles to overcome.
I guess I'm either spoiled by CM and DL shows (much better produced and less wasting of time)...but with the exception of a few decent hits, these shows are really bad, annoying and strangely not fun/funny to watch.
